Percussion - Derek Love

Derek joined the band in 1992 from The Livingston Brass Band and his first engagement was a 3 week tour of Australia and New Zealand (good timing!). Since he joined Dereks highlights include 9 Scottish Championship wins, a National title in 1996 and a runners up medal in the Europeans. Away from brass bands Derek enjoys gigging and also plays in shows and has just recently finished playing in The Witches of Eastwick with Marti Pellow. Derek also became the first Scottish person to get an ATCL Diploma from Trinity London in Drum Kit.
