Tenor Horn - Lyndsay Smith
Lyndsay started playing cornet at the age of 11 under the baton of Hughie Johnstone. She joined Dalmellinton band on horn in 1992 then moved to the Co- Op on 1999. Lyndsay enjoyed a period on Solo horn before taking some time out to have daughter Emily. She currently works as an IT engineer in Glasgow. The most memorable contest for Lyndsay has to be winning the Scottish Championships in 2003 by four points after coming a miserable 7th the year before and her favourite test piece is Philip Wilby's Dove Decending.
