Percussion - Thomas Lowe

A product of St. Patrick’s School and St. Andrew’s School in Coatbridge, Thomas first became interested in percussion in 2005 after watching the St. Patrick School’s concert band performing. He went on to join that band and became its first ever percussionist (the founding member in fact). In 2008, Thomas gained playing experience with the Bo’ness and Carriden Band as well as being involved in wind ensembles and other groups in the North Lanarkshire schools area.

In November, 2009, Thomas gained a place on the BA (Music Performance) degree course at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama in Glasgow and he will begin his studies there in September, 2010.
