Co-operative Funeralcare Couple Tie The Knot

Congratulations are due to two members of The Co-operative Funeralcare Band, Charlie Farren and Caroline Munro, who were married recently at a ceremony in Livingston.

Charlie, who is the band’s bass trombonist, and Caroline, who plays flugel horn, were married on Saturday, 15th August, 2009 at a ceremony in Saint Andrew’s Church in Livingston before a congregation of relatives and friends. Two other members of the band took part in the ceremony – percussionist Derek Love was best man while trombonist Mark Haldane was an usher.

Following the service, a reception was held in Airth Castle in Stirlingshire where more guests and band members joined in the celebrations. During the course of the evening, music was provided by a composite brass ensemble which included such brass band luminaries as Richard Evans, Archie Hutchison, Willie Young and John Barber ( even the bride and groom took part).

Everyone at The Co-operative Funeralcare Band sends their best wishes to Charlie and Caroline for a long and happy life together.
