Scottish Co-op Players Win Awards At Dundee

In addition to the Scottish Co-op Band winning the Scottish Championship title at the Scottish Brass Band Championships in Dundee on 22nd March, 2009, three of the band's principal players won individual awards. Simon Estermann, the band's principal cornet won the Terris Medal for best cornet, Matt Maines won the Bram Thompson Medal for Best Horn/Flugel and Gregor Stewart won the John Campbell Award for Best Trombone.
